WIJLAND is a temporary free state with social entrepeneurs as its ambassadors. The goal: finding solutions to various local and global issues in the field of social sustainability.


Several times a year WIJLAND (English: ± WEadow) descends on conferences, festivals or other special occasions.WIJLAND offers an inspiring environment where people come together.

 

Thursday 23 September 2010 the last WIJLAND took place at PICNIC Festival in the Gashouder in Amsterdam. Visitors of PICNIC met up with our ambassadors who are engaged in practical projects that can improve the world. They shared their vision and expertise with each other. I need to think more about the possibilities of social

media for my company. We have an unique pointe:

self-sustainability with renewables from the own

region. Our customers contribute to the company as

it is a cooperative. We can reach more people by

intelligently using social media, and also we can

reach our current customers more directly.
